Beckway’s DEI Committee is dedicated to fostering a workplace where every employee feels empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. Our commitment extends beyond rhetoric, focusing on tangible actions that reflect the rich tapestry of the communities we serve.
In 2023, our DEI initiatives were multifaceted. We introduced quarterly informational spotlights during firm calls, highlighting significant events such as International Women’s Day, AAPI Heritage Month, Jewish High Holidays, and paying tribute to active and retired military on Veteran’s Day. Monthly newsletters, packed with educational content, kept the team informed about upcoming events, while promoting DEI-focused LinkedIn Learning content.
Our talent acquisition efforts were equally robust, resulting in a remarkable 47% diverse hire rate. Of all candidates interviewed, 51% identified as diverse candidates, reflecting our commitment to building a team that mirrors the diversity of the world around us.
